If you feel you’re due for a change, you’re not alone. A new survey from The American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) found some once hot workouts like high-intensity interval training have been slipping in popularity, says Walt Thompson, Ph.D, lead author of the survey.
“We saw this pattern with Zumba and Pilates. The fact that they didn’t last means they may have been more of a fad than a trend.” Although they were fun while they lasted, other workouts are expected to take their place in 2015.
